Hello,

I replaced my broken iphone screen after apple pointed out to me that they probably didn't want to fix it because of a small dent in the aluminum case.

First I bought a refurbished screen, this screen immediately caused problems and reacted very poorly to input. delay, swiping was seen as pressing, etc.

I sent it back and bought the same screen again. it worked for 2 days before showing the same problems. After this I decided to buy a so-called factory grade screen, this screen gave both the problems and no 3D touch, so I also sent this one back.

Now I have installed a fourth screen bought from a different store, mounted it and this also gives problems as mentioned earlier. The problems occur mainly on the right side of the screen from top to bottom. But sometimes it will spread to other places. This causes for example typing the letter O but pressing on the letter K on the screen or it will suddenly press the call via whatsapp button al the way at the top of the display. Occasionally the screen also reacts to my finger while it floats 1 cm above the screen.

all in all many problems. I have started reassembling my broken screen and I have 0 problems. Does anyone have experience with a solution that makes a replacement screen work with my device?

Ik heb mijn gebroken iphone scherm vervangen nadat apple mij erop wees dat zij dit waarschijnlijk niet wilde repareren vanwege een klein deukje in de aluminium behuizing.

Ik heb als eerste een refurbished scherm gekocht, dit scherm gaf gelijk al problemen en reageerde zeer slecht op input. vertraging, swipen werd gezien als drukken, etc.

Deze retour gestuurd en nogmaals eenzelfde scherm gekocht. deze werkte 2 dagen voordat hij dezelfde problemen vertoonde. Hierna heb ik blesloten om een zo genaamd factory grade scherm te kopen, dit scherm gaf zowel de problemen als geen 3D touch waardoor ik deze ook retour heb gestuurd.

Nu heb ik inmiddels een vierde scherm erop gemonteerd en ook deze geeft weer problemen zoals eerder benoemd. de problemen bevinden zich vooral aan de rechterzijde van het scherm van boven tot onder. Maar verspreid zich soms naar andere plekken. Waardoor een druk op de letter k een o registreert of ineens gaan bellen via whatsapp. Het telefoon icoontje word dus geregistreerd wanneer ik op het toetsenbord aan het typen ben. Een enkele keer reageert het scherm op mijn vinger terwijl deze 1cm boven het scherm zweeft.

al met al veel problemen. Ik heb inmiddels mijn gebroken scherm weer gemonteerd en heb 0 problemen. Heeft iemand hier ervaring mee of een oplossing waardoor een dergelijk scherm wel werkt met mijn toestel?

Lightning cables will just not stay in this phone if either is even shifted to the slightest. Unscientific measure; I used to be able to pick up the dropped phone by the cord alone without disconnect. Now ANY pull or pressure and the cord comes out. I don't see any debris in port, but my eyes aren't perfect. I can't tell if there are pressure levers or contacts that I see inside on left and right, and maybe one is bad?

YES, it still connects to laptop.

YES, it still charges fine.

YES, i tried original cable.

YES, i tried a NEW original cable.

YES, the cables 'pop' in/ fully seat.

NO, there is no case.

YES, i tried with a passthrough case.

I've just replaced screen iPhone 7 plus for a customer, after that she checked and both front and back camera are not working(I don't know if she broke before or I did it). I have tried to reseat front camera but no help. I replaced aftermaket front camera and it won't work too(I heard aftermarket camera won't work on ios 11???). I haven't tried original camera yet. PLease let me know what happen?

I think it's the wings inside of the lighting plug that are loose but is there a way to bend it inward without a device disassembly? I have a photo of what I am referring to below.
