Xbox 360: Can I restore the video feed on my 360?

At first I would be using my 360 and after about five minutes the screen would take a green hue and become slightly scrambled. Then this started happening when I turned it on and eventually the visual cut out all together. Now when I turn it on I can hear the audio but nothing comes onto the screen. I've tried new A.V cords and using HD cables on an HD tv but I've had no luck, so I figure the problem is in the xbox 360 itself. There are no rings, it still runs the games, I just can't see them. Any tips?

Xbox 360: How do I quiet RMA'ed 360? Fans are really loud

I had a launch unit, served me great for many years. After it got the RROD, it was RMA'ed, replaced with a different main unit and the fans are now super loud. I can't play a game or watch a movie because the sound is very distracting.

How could my launch be quiet but this one is so loud? Can I replace the fans with quieter ones?

About a week ago I was unplugging my usb keyboard from my 360 and when I pulled it out the black piece inside the usb port broke off and came out now the usb port is useless.I thought it would be ok but after I turned it off I tried turning it back on and it would give me rings of light or anything. And my power supply is fine so any ideas?

Hello,

Im buying a 4 Chanel fan controller for my xbox 360 but it is made to work with a computer.

The way this touch display gets its power is from a molex connecter from the computers power supply but the Xbox 360 does not have this.

I looked around for some type of adapter with no success i wondered can you maybe cut into the power cable and splice a AC plug with a cut end and hook them together so the screen would be powered by a wall plug instead of having to plug into the mother board.Also if cutting into the power cables is the only way this would work,would it affect the ports that the fans and heat probes plug into?Please help I would love to get my Xbox back up and running again. Thanks!

There is a peg in the middle of the socket that dosen't match up with the desigh of the plug from the power supply. Do I have the wrong power unit?

how can I flash a new disc drive to my 360? I have heard of jungle flasher, and I think I might try that, but all my research is saying that you need to flash the drive if they are different (Samsung, benq, etc). I think they're actually the same. Do I still need to flash it? Also, I'm not sure which sata cable to use, so if someone could link me to a good one on Amazon, I would appreciate it.

xbox 360 was playing games then all the sudden froze. it did this twice so i didnt play for a few days. then when i went to turn it on again 3 of the red rings turned on. the top left, bottom left and bottom right. what is wrong with my xbox 360?

this just happened to me today. i opened it and cleaned it out and it still wont work. every time i put a disk in, it says unrecognized disk. i want to fix it but i already fixed it for red rings so I don't want to put anymore money into it. besides ps3 (even ps2) is better than xbox!

I put my game in and it says reading and then it says open tray. It makes noises like its going to play, but then it says open tray. It just started doing this. It might be because its not the right disk drive. If you could help then thanks.

Xbox 360: How to reflash? DVD

This is something I'm very new to-am fixing friends broken xbox RROD and now I have been asked to replace/repair a DVD drive.

Have done some reading which says I need to flash the drive (marry the drive to motherboard?)

could someone put this in simple english for me.

Been googling etc and found pages of do this, do that, buy my DVD. Most assume I have a clue about what they're on about and to be honest I'm an idiot that needs an answer that doesn't assume I know anything about anything and is without all the abbreviations...

It looks like it should be simple but the more i read the more confusing it gets!

Greetings! I was curious if you are able to replace the HDD with a standard drive for a laptop? I've taken the HD module apart and the swap looks easy enough, but I don't know how to image the drive so it can be recognized.

Xbox 360: Red ring on death issues

My Xbox 360 recently got the dreaded red ring of death, and I’ve tried everything available to fix it. I re-balled the gpu, I’ve heated the ram chips, cpu, and gpu, i pressed on the Hanna chip, I replaced leaky capacitors, I’ve checked the board for missing parts, I’ve cleaned it, I installed red ring of death fix kit by Ifixit, I made sure the power supply was properly plugged in. Nothing has worked. Any ideas on how to fix this issue??? My error code was 0020.

Xbox 360 HD DVD drive: Won't read disks at some points

So, a backstory on this. It's my dad's XBox 360, he recently gave to me. It runs a little slow, but perfectly fine. The only issue going on is that when I want to play a certain game, I'll put it in, then it'll just read for a second, then say "open tray" but if I put another game in there, it'll work perfect fine. But the issue isn't that. It's the fact that I can lay it on its side, and it'll start the game, but if I turn it off, it'll do this cycle and it makes me mad so much. If someone could please help me, I'd really appreciate it.

Xbox 360: Where can I find a replacement spring, for usb port cover?

I left my MP3 player plugged into the usb port for too long. This resulted in my door loosing it's "spring" and would not return to the closed position. I have finally taking the time to look at what happened and I don't have the original spring anymore.

I need to know if i can simply go to any hardwear store and request a spring of that sizing, or is it something I need to find online(unfortunatly I did not see it on ifixit.com). If it is possible, I would be willing to make my own, but just don't know which material(s) would work best.

Xbox 360: Why isn't my Xbox reading my Hard drive?

This morning, I turned on my Xbox 360, and it red ringed the 1st, 3rd, and 4th ring. Now, my Xbox won't access the hard drive no matter what I try. I've only had it for three years. Any suggestions?
