DualShock 4 CHU-ZCT2U: Controller L2 knop doet het niet

Hallo,

Ik heb hier een jdm 030 ps4 board liggen waarvan de L2 knop het helemaal niet doet maar R2 wel.

Wat ik zelf al heb geprobeerd:

-Nieuwe flex cable (van ali express) gemonteerd

-connectors schoon gemaakt met (i.p.a)

-verschilende weerstanden gemeten met multimeter (op ohms) stand.

Maar ik kom er niet uit en weet mijn god niet waar ik moet beginnen.

Er zat wel voor dat ik de fotos had genomen wat corrosie op en langst paar van de weerstanden maar dat heb ik inmiddels al schoongemaakt met alcohol. Zag er wit kalk achtig uit.

Mijn vraag is welke onderdeel zou er mogelijk vervangen moeten worden ?

En is het wel de moeite waard ? Zo te zien heb ik geen donor jdm 030 printplaat board.

Ik heb de multi meter aangesloten op pin 1 van de voeding connector. Maar ik blijf 1.5 volt krijgen zelfs als ik L2 of R2 indruk. Wil het niet veranderen naar 3.3volt.

Wat zou dit kunnen betekenen ?

Omdat deze vraag heel wat bekijks heeft getrokken op het Engelse antwoordenforum, willen we deze vraag en de bijbehorende meest nuttige antwoorden ook toegankelijk maken voor de Nederlandse iFixit-gemeenschap:

Waarom laadt mijn PS4-controller niet meer op? Als ik de controller op mijn PS4 aansluit, werkt de controller niet (het gele licht brandt niet). Als ik de controller op mijn PC aansluit, licht het gele licht wel op, maar wil de controller niet inschakelen na het indrukken van de PS-knop. Ik heb dit probleem vorige week ook gehad en toen wist ik het op te lossen door de reset-knop in te drukken. Nu heb ik echter hetzelfde probleem en werkt het indrukken van de reset-knop niet als oplossing. Kan iemand mij helpen?

Van de ene op de andere dag werken de pijltjestoetsen niet meer op PC. Na testen heb ik gevonden dat deze wel nog werken op console. Het is dus niet een probleem met de controller zelf denk ik…

Hey,

Ik heb net een nieuwe gaming pc gekocht. Ik connecteer mijn ps3 controller met mijn pc, mijn pc herkent de controller maar mijn controller zelf doet het niet. Na het insteken van de controller plinken de 4 lampjes tegelijkertijd voor een paar seconden, daarna branden er geen meer. Op mijn laptop die ik gebruikte voor mijn nieuwe desktop, ging dit wel gewoon. Wat moet ik hier voor doen om dit te laten werken? Alvast bedankt!

So for different controller I installed normal sticks and it won't charge or connect to my PC. I noticed on the four prongs on the analog stick that is R3( works in-game and camera spinning) were really short. I still can connect to my ps4 via wireless. I was able to press X to enter the game from the ps4 menu, but in the main menu when I pressed X it wouldn't register. So I removed a solder from that analog stick and then I was able to enter the game from its main menu still not charging nor I can connect to PC I was able to connect prior to replacing sticks.

Hello Everyone.I have a question.

I have a DualShock 4 Controller with Model CUH-ZCT2.Its working perfectly.I also have another controller that is copy and i can feel the pretty much difference between my copy controller and original(assumed) controller.I brought my PS4 2nd hand in good condition.That dude told me that Black controller is copy and second one that have a custom elden ring shell is original.

1:This controller performs very well and doesnt have any input delay like my copy controller.I played GTA V and other games to compare them and Original(assumed) Elden ring controller performed very well.

2.This controller joysticks also have firm resistance and it is very accurate and aiming is easy in games.its buttons are also good.And joysticks buttons L3 R3 also can be clicked and have a damp and different sound than my copy controller.

3.Unlike other controllers this controller has a sticker on which 1000MAh is written.Im not sure if there is any model that has written 1000mah battery as most of has written 800mah.I also opened it and battery is original 1000mah .

4.Its joysticks can also pop out(not out of shell) and snap back in.I have tried this on my copy controller but it has fixed joysticks that cannot pop out.

5.Im attaching pictures and videos of every single part of my controller.I have also attached videos with button sounds.

So please someone answer me if my controller is original or not.By my Point of View it seems totally original...

DualSense Controller V4: My baby niece dropped my controller and now my home button doesnt work

My controller IG got dropped by my baby niece when I wasnt home, but now the PS Home button isnt working. I plug it in and the lights come on fine and everything else seems to work, except the home button so I cant turn on the controller.. Im thinking about trying to maybe dab it with light amount of alcohol and then if that doesnt work, IG breaking it down and then cleaning the inside is my next move?

Ok so I have replaced the ribbon film as well as the rubber bumpers as well as the R1 button itself as well as clean all contacts and everything works on the controller but the R1 button. What would cause this single button to not work with all the items that I replaced what could cause this problem ??

DualSense Controller v2: 🔧[BDM-020] R2 Trigger Permanently Activated – Even Without Flex Cable

Hi everyone,

I’m dealing with a PS5 DualSense controller (BDM-020) that has a persistent issue with the R2 trigger input being stuck "on", even when no trigger or flex cable is connected.

Here’s a full breakdown:

R2 is always registered as pressed, even without the flex cable or trigger module connected.
When I reconnect the bumper flex cable, R1 works, but R2 remains constantly active.
The actual R2 trigger module works fine on other controllers.
I also tested other working trigger modules on this board – same problem: R2 stuck.
I noticed that the pins of the flex cable seem to bend slightly when inserting the cable inside the FPC connector (trigger flex slot), which might suggest mechanical damage to the connector.

Mainboard: BDM-020

Questions:

Has anyone encountered R2 input being stuck "on" at the board level, even with no flex cable?
Could this be caused by damage to the FPC connector, e.g. shorted or internally bridged pins?
Is it possible to replace the trigger FPC connector or clean/fix individual pins?
Any specific points I should probe with a multimeter to isolate the issue?

I’d love to hear any suggestions – I’d prefer to repair this board if possible instead of scrapping it.

So for different controller I installed normal sticks and it won't charge or connect to my PC. It works in-game and camera still spinning. I still can connect to my ps4 via wireless. So I removed the analog stick and I'm able to enter the game from its main menu still not charging nor I can connect to PC I was able to connect prior to replacing sticks. When I was clean I noticed that one of the via ripped one is there any way I can make this work my connect the ground via(I think) to a different via with a wire so it can work? I've seen people do that to a ps5 controller I wonder if it can be done to a ps4 controller.

DualShock 4: Am I soldering correctly?

This more of a general question I feel like I'm soldering at a too high temperature I keep damaging the mask around the vias sometimes stripping the mask around the vias revealing the copper I don't know if that compromises the connection or not at what temperature I should solder at? I currently solder at 400c I use both lead and lead free solder.

DualShock 3: The D-pad Down button has stopped working on my PS3 Controller.

I've been playing my PS3 a little bit, not loads, with several months passing inbetween playing on it. However, recently the dualshock 3 controller D-pad has partially stopped working. Specifically the down button on the D-pad no longer works. The rest of the D-Pad works fine.

Anyone know what the problem could be and how I could possibly fix it?

DualShock 4: PS4 Touch pad cursor stuck

So I recently opened my PS4 controller to give it a basic clean as I had an issue with the R2 trigger, which is now fully fixed and working great. However upon reassembling the controller my touch pad has gone crazy. When trying to type a message to someone the cursor pulls back into the centre on the keyboard, so I can type g or G if i’m feeling creative. Any advice please

DualSense Controller V3: D-Pad down stuck even after replacing membrane and conductive rubber.

Hey!

My D-pad down is permanently stuck. I've gotten this controller with a used kit. It worked fine for a few hours of gameplay, then the D-Pad down got stuck, and it won't go back. I don't know if anyone spilled any liquids on it, but it doesn't seem to be the case, there's no sign of oxidation on the motherboard.

I disassembled and tried cleaning it properly with isopropyl alcohol, but it didn't work. I bough a replacement membrane + conductive rubber underneath it, but the problem persists!

I'm actually amazed and I don't know what else can be the issue or even how to start diagnosing it with more advanced tools.
Any suggestions?

My controller fell down on the ground about 20cm above the ground , the only thing that’s not working are my L2 and R2 and my L1 and R1 are working fine but they are a bit slow

The first three pics are of the front the last three are the back so I noticed some scratches on the front on of the board I don't they will cause any problems my concern are the ones on back I used a solder sucker on vias on the back as well as lower melt solder I hope all it takes is a little solder mask
