Olympus OM-D E-M10: De lens is geblokkeerd - The lens is blocked

Bij het inschakelen gaat de lens 3x in en uit, maar blijft dan geblokkeerd. Geen beeld, geen sluiter mogelijk. Reset gedaan, batterij reeds eruit gehaald. Niets helpt. Blijkbaar zit het probleem in de lens zelf, want met een andere lens lukt het wel. Lens = M.zuiko 14-42 mm.

The lens is blocked When switching on, the lens goes in and out 3x, but then remains blocked. No image, no shutter possible. Reset done, battery already removed. Nothing helps. Apparently the problem is in the lens itself, because it works with a different lens. Lens = M.zuiko 14-42 mm.

Can anyone help me ????

Van deze camera is één van de accu contacten afgebroken door metaal moeheid. Het is het contact voor de AA batterijen 1,5 volt welke is afgebroken.

Na het aanzetten van de camera gaat de lens naar buiten en daarna gebeurd er niets meer, als ik een tik geeft tegen de zij kant van de lens doet hij het wel weer.

Zit er daar een sensor?

Hoe kan ik het gordijn gesloten hebben zodat ik kan zien of er stof .... opzit, en met een blaasbalgje kan reinigen.

Olympus Camera: camera won't turn off while battery is insterted

My camera has decided that it will not turn off as long as I have the battery inserted. This started about 1.5 weeks ago (no dropping or damage happened), and still continues. I have to remove the batter to ensure that it turns off and not to drain the battery. This is the OM-D Mark 5 II model, just 14 months old. 2 months past warrenty which is killing me.

Olympus Camera: Battery Door Plastic Slider Broke on my Olympus Stylus 820

Hoping someone out there will be able to help me with this. The plastic slider of the battery door on my Olympus Stylus 820 broke. I ordered a replacement through Olympus and received it the next day. Unfortunately, it did not come with directions. I called the customer service number and was told I cannot have the instructions to install it myself. I need to send it in to them to repair even though they sold me the part (go figure!).

I've now got a new battery cover that I can't install, a useless camera and a bad taste left over from dealing with Olympus customer service.

Can anyone tell me how to install the battery cover?

Olympus Stylus 300: Camera powers down unexpectedly

The camera is several years old. When it is powered on, it frequently shuts down, retracting the lens. This sometimes happens within seconds of being turned on, other times it lasts long enough to take photos. I replaced the battery, then opened the camera up and cleaned the electrical contacts. No luck. Any ideas?

every time i change the Accu i have to set the time and date agan. Is there an Button cell or an buffer condensator i can change? it seems like it is a comman problem on this moddel but no one has a fix for it so far.

Olympus Camera: Olympus OM-D E-M10 front curtain flutters?

Hi everyone,

I got this problem with my EM 10. When the camera is off, the front shutter curtain stays shut (normally it is open). When I turned the camera on, the curtain will flickers for a few times (make some noise) then it stays shut and the camera will shut itself off.

I can't access the LCD menu and cannot take a picture.

Anyone know how i solve this?

Olympus Evolt E510: Out of focus pictures

I've cleaned the lenses and camera, tried 2 different Compact Flash cards, two different lenses, and tried numerous settings and lighting situations. I've updated the firmware, as well, but the situation remains. In every case, the camera appears to take the picture in focus but when I look at the saved photos, they are "fuzzy". When I look at the photos on the PC, they are "Fuzzy", as well. Any ideas?

Olympus FE-210: Why all my out door pictures turn out white and washed out?

My display shows good color and sharp picture.

Indoor picture using flash gets good picture.

Ouidoor movie picture works fine also.

All outdoor still pictures with any setting mode turn up white, washed out with very little details.

turned camera on,after being left for several months. The color is not true and pictures are out of focus. Tried the reset and it does nothing. Can't find anything on the menu, that restores the true colors.

Here's the note I sent to Olympus:

I'm a French customer and have OMD E-M5 Mark 1, OMD E-M5 mark2, a large Olympus flash and 3 Olympus zooms. Although ALWAYS handling the start lever of my M5 mark1 with great care, this plastic lever has just broken into 5 pieces, without warning ...

I'm convinced that this lever is simply clipped on the metal axis of the switch. Using a high quality industrial binocular, I cannot understand how the plastic lever can ensure rotation of the axis. To open the M5mark 1 does not scare me. I'm assured that in the United States, parts of the M5 mark1 are still available.

Can you provide me with this plastic lever? Cordially,

Olympus Camera: Message on my screen says "write protect."

I have an Olympus SP-720 UZ camera. When I turn it on, I get a message on my screen that reads "write protect". Can someone give me an idea what is going on. It goes away when I take the SD card out, but there isn't enough memory in my camera to take pictures without it.

I have replaced the battery. When powered "on," the zoom lens moves back and forth, then remains "zoomed." The LCD screen remains black throughout the process--a couple of seconds--and the camera shuts off.
