halfvol op de lader gezet en gaat niet meer aan.

reageerd niet op aan toets. ook niet op een reset combinatie.

aansluiten op diverse laders geeft geen reactie.

geeft geen enkele keur lampje.

hoe kan ik een diagnose stellen.

vermoed een kapot moederbord, maar hoop een accu of acculader intern aansluiting.

hoe kan ik testen wat het is.

demonteren is geen probleem.

Beste Allemaal,

Mijn Oculus Rift headset raakt zeer regelmatig de verbinding kwijt met de PC. Hierdoor is er bijna niks mee aan te vangen. Om het probleem te verhelpen heb ik een TP cast aangeschaft, maar ook hiermee hetzelfde probleem. Het lijkt erop dat het in de verbinding zit (hdmi ingang headset). Kan iemand mij vertellen hoe dit op te lossen of weet iemand een plek waar ik de Rift kan laten repareren. Alvast bedankt,

I was playing the walking dead: saints and sinners for the first time and I noticed I was slowly strafing to the right. I took it as the game's push mechanic and just kept playing. I then hopped onto vrchat, and truly noticed the stick drift. I haven't seen any repair guides for the quest’s controllers, so I'm wondering if anyone knows a fix?

I want to make myself a charging dock out of the box the headset came in but I'd need to know the pinout and possible handshake I would need to mimic. Could anyone who has the dock measure the voltages and see/record and communication over the data pin?

I’ve recently gone on holiday and I got my quest 2 out for 2 seconds to switch it off as I forgot and it kept going off in my bag but now there’s a yellow light in the lens and I think it’s Sun damage is there any way I can fix it by replacing the lenses

I spilled water on my quest 2. It was not a lot but it wasn't a small amount either. I have a heater and a hairdryer to it atm. Basically what you'd do if u dropped your phone in water. Will this help? If not, is there someone who does repairs? Will I have to replace it entirely? I'm freaking out rn. Plz help!!!!!!

well I let my brother borrow my oculus quest 2 expecting to get it back in the same good condition, but he gave it back with a lot of yellow dots and lines. I'm guessing this is sun damage. I want to know if its possible to replace the display, and if you can how?

Oculus Rift CV1: Ribbon cable (headphones/rear tracking sensors) broken

Hey guys...

Some days ago, I bought one CV1 it from a friend. But unfortunately in the transport the ribbon cable in headband it broke. I tried repair this ribbon cable but I don't had success. I tried talk with the Oculus Support...I asked if they send me another headband for make my rift 100% again but apparently, they do not want help me. I know how disassembly/assembly my rift, this is no worry for me...but they said basically "Sorry to hear that Rift was damaged"...short answer: buy another one.

Anyone can help me about this problem? How can repair? Where find something that can use for fix?

I tried amend the ribbon cable using wires but when I test continuity with multimeter any pin doesn't work.

1- Before try fix, I tested continuity between this pins and the headphone pins, it's working.

2- I received the oculus in this situation. I needed cut the ribbon cable after this hole because was torn.

3- Conversation with the Oculus Support Team

3 - Soldered pins with wires in the both sides, at the moment, all that's fine. I tested again the continuity between the blue wire sides, it's working too...but if a test between the blue wire side and headphone contact...not working :( (maybe why I use this wire? need another wire type?)

Oculus Rift CV1: Any suggestions on cable repair.

Bought a headset from a friend. cable leading to the HDMI and USB split was badly twisted some how and I believe there is a broken wire. Any suggestions? PC identifies headset, and I am able to get sound and tracking. But no visuals within the headset itself.

The thin black piece of plastic that holds the top of your head strap broke when i put it on, and now i only have the side pieces, is their a head strap that i can use that doesn't need that? and / or how do i fix the plastic piece

Meta Quest 2: Quest 2 controller face button suddenly mushy and doesn't work

Hi, so my Quest 2 controllers were working almost perfectly fine, but there was small amount of joystick drift developing. I finally got fed up with it today, and sprayed some DeoxIT D5 electrical contact cleaner in there according to these instructions:

The joystick drift was completely fixed, and I put the black cover plates back onto the controller after some testing.

However, once I started playing a game, I noticed that my X button felt strange. It was mushy and didn't have a clicking feeling, and I needed to press the button quite hard to get it to activate. I couldn't find a video showing exactly how the button sensor is constructed, but it feels like the spring was still working, but the membrane was stuck permanently down or broken somehow, and wasn't clicking up and down anymore.

To get at the buttons it seems I needed to fully disassemble the controller, which I don't quite dare to do at the moment. So instead I decided to spray a bit more contact cleaner into the button and mash it up and down a few times to see if that would help. Instead, the button became completely nonfunctional - it wouldn't activate regardless of how I pressed it. And the mushy feeling remains.

Has anyone disassembled the face buttons on these controllers before? Can you think of anything that might explain the mushy feeling / not working? It was completely fine before I sprayed the contact cleaner, how can liquid contact cleaner affect the button mechanically in this way?

Is this merely the membrane being dirty or stuck, and fixable if I disassemble the entire thing and pop it back out? Or was I just unlucky and the button has failed/broken at coincidentally the same time? I can't find any replacement parts for the buttons, unlike the analogue stick sensors.
