Kobo Clara BW: hoe kan ik een ingebrand scherm vervangen

Helaas is mijn scherm van Kobo Clara ingebrand. Kan iemand mij helpen om dit te verhelpen. Ik neem aan dat het nodig is om het scherm te vervangen maar het is volgens mij een afwijkende maat.

Mijn Kobo Clara blokkeert op een willekeuroige pagina van een boek en ik kan er niks meer mee doen. Zelfs uitzetten gaat niet meer.

De aan en uitknop zit vast in de e-reader. Ik kan dus niet meer aan of uitzetten. Gaat dan in slaapstand

Kobo Clara BW N365: Batterij laad niet voldoende, scherm blijft knipperen.

Na meer dan een jaar niet gebruikt te hebben is de batterij leeg. 24 uur aan het contact gehangen. Scherm blijft knipperen, was nog maar 32% geladen.

Mijn Kobo Clare BW laadt niet meer op. Het aansluitpunt lijkt beschadigd te zijn waardoor hij alleen nog oplaadt als ik het stekkertje in een bepaalde stand vasthoud. Kan ik dit zelf repareren? En zo ja, Hoe?

Kobo Clara BW: Mijn ereader doet het alleen als deze in de oplader zit

Mijn ereader werkt alleen als deze aan een stroomkabel is aangesloten. Zodra ik deze eruit haal reageert de ereader niet meer. Zolang deze is aangesloten kan ik gewoon alles doen. Hoe kan ik dit oplossen?

Hallo,

Het scherm van mijn e-reader is defect. Ik wil alle boeken die op de e-reader staan er afhalen met een computer. Als ik de e-reader nu op een computer aansluiit, wordt hij niet als een schijf weergegeven. Normaal moet je op het scherm van de e-reader een akkoord geven om de gegeven op een computer zichtbaar te laten worden. Maar dit is nu niet mogelijk omdat het scherm defect is. Hoe kan ik toch bij de boeken op mijn e-reader komen om die over te zetten op mijn nieuwe e-reader?

Kobo Clara BW N365: Screen replacement for P365

I have a Kobo Clara BW P365 but I only see an N365 screen available. The install instructions say to check which model you have as the images only apply to the N365 but it's not clear if the screen is compatible with the N365, N365B, and the P365.

Anyone know?

Kobo Clara BW: Screen frozen after fall

I dropped my 4-year old Kobo Clara BW HD on to a hard floor. Case came slightly loose but clipped back easily. Unfortunately now when it powers up, you can see there is light behind the screen, but the cover of the book i was reading is frozen in place and unresponsive. Any idea if it can be repaired? Thanks

Kobo Clara BW: Cannot turn reader on.

the screen is black and the word Éteint "turned off" appears on the screen. I have pluged it into the power outlet, and pressed the on off button at the bottom, but nothing happens. It does not turn on.

My screen keeps self-clicking on itself, changing pages, zooming in and increasing font size on its own. I’ve tried taking out the screen protector and cleaning the screen, factory resetting but it’s only gotten worse. To the point I can no longer do anything with it anymore. Anyone has any idea what's wrong? It's only a little more than a year old.

Kobo Clara BW: Can this PCB still be repaired?

Hello, thank you in advance for reading.

I have a Kobo Clara 2E which, right after being unplugged from a computer, stopped working. After reading online this device uses an SD card for internal memory, I suspected the filesystem was corrupted.

I opened the device and tried to remove the SD card, which was glued in place. While trying to wiggle it out with tweezers, I accidentally scratched the PCB, as shown in the attached pictures.

The SD card did eventually come off, but even after writing a working image to it, the Kobo still isn't turning on. This is, I imagine, caused by the scratched tracks. Based on the pictures, would you agree? Is there a way I could fix the two tracks?

After the Kobo was unplugged from the computer, it stopped working correctly, despite having been ejected before unplugging. Initially, the screen was stuck showing the eject screen as if still plugged in, but after attempting to reset it, the screen turned blank. Each time it was turned on, the LED blinked a few times, the screen swapped between black and white a few times too, and nothing else happened.

It was at this point that I opened the device and accidentally scratched the PCB attempting to remove the SD card. After writing a working image to the SD card and putting it back together, it stopped turning on. I then tried rewriting the SD card with the original data, which I had previously backed up, but it still does not turn on.
