DeLonghi ESAM Family: Delonghi ESAM4200S stuck on red triangle when power on

Hello, I have a Delonghi ESAM4200s with the red triangle led that lights up and stays on when I switch on. (Sometimes, 1 cup and 2 cups leds are on too).

I used the test mode (press and hold 1 cup + steam and switch on), everything worked perfectly except the thermoblock. No led turns on when I pushed the « Rinse » button, it doesn't heat up. So I checked its resistance and it was good (38ohms). The thermofuses are good too. The thermosensor is good too (10kohms). I tried replacing the power supply board and nothing changed. I checked the all switches and all works fine.

Do you have any advice on what I should check?

DeLonghi ESAM Family: water comes from steam wand not coffee spout

Hello, our DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM3300 does not discharge water from the coffee spouts. Instead, the water comes out of the steam wand. Happens even on self-clean cycle when turned on. Coffee spouts are not blocked the infuser cleaned and the machine descaled. Is it the end? Any suggestion?

DeLonghi ESAM Family: No hot water and steam comes out.

Hi. I have Delonghi ESAM 04.350 bean to cup coffee machine.

- The Machine's steam function (and hot water) function is not working. I just hear 'click' noise when I try to get hot water but nothing comes out.

- When I push the hor water or cappucino button, there is no warning on the screen, but there is "heating" shows up and dissepears in a second (It should be "preparing hot water/cappucino) . It seems like something wrong with electronics.

+ When I'm using 'descale' function, hot water comes out and the machine descales normally.

+ Espresso part is ok

+ Cup heater is working properly

+ Any other functions seems working

What can I do to fix this problem? Thanks.

DeLonghi ESAM Family: Delonghi 6900.m No steam. Weird noise

I have a Delonghi Primadonna Exclusive 6900.M

Everything seems to work fine except for the steam.

It will produce hot water out of the water spout and will also do a full descale.

But when I choose the steam function or put the milk canister on it makes a funny noise like it has a blockage because when I stop it some steam comes out the back of the machine. I have always done the descales and changed O- rings when needed. Greased up the enfuser when was getting stuck, that fixed that. Put rubber grommet in suction straw on the milk canister that has a smaller hole in it to slowdown the milk feed so that it heats up more, got this from delonghi. Hot cuppachino now.

What do you think is the problem. Could it be the solenoid doing this.

DeLonghi ESAM Family: DeLonghi ESAM 6900.M Prima Donna - No Power

Merry Christmas all.

I have a DeLonghi ESAM 6900.M Prima Donna and a few days ago, I tried turning it on but there was no power at all. Everything was dead.

I've scoured the net and it seems that the power control board are known to fail, and specifically the capacitors. The blown capacitors generally display obvious signs of failure, but I can't see any evidence of that on the power control board of mine. Any ideas what the issue could be, before I take a leap of faith and buy a new power board?

(the loose connection was me taking it apart)

The hot water steam function is not currently working and I am suspicious of the solenoid. All the hoses are free of blockages and look clean. Hot water comes out of the “in” hose if I unclip it but nothing comes out of the “out” hose side of the solenoid if i unclip that hose (once i’ve reconnected the “in”!). Does it sound likely that the solenoid is the issue? Is there a way to test without ordering a replacement?

I have the above machine and it won't work, it makes the usual noise from the main motor on start up, then the screen shoes heating up as usual (but its not heating) And after approx 2 minutes the screen shows general alarm. I have replaced the heating element but this did not solve it. Just hoping theres a delonghi expert here, before i fire the parts cannon again! Since posting I removed the water pump and applied 240v and it works.

DeLonghi ESAM Family: Delonghi ESAM 4500 dead - chip burnt?

Hi all,

Yesterday I opened my coffee machine to give it a good clean. This is not the first time I’m doing this, but this time I forgot to remove the power plug. After removing some wires there was a short. I immediately removed the power plug. After some time I tried to turn on the machine, but nothing on the screen. I also hear nothing working like the gears etc..

I looked at the mainboard and saw that one chip was broken, I think this one is burn after the short, is this possible? Could the machine not work because of the broken chip? And is it possible to replace the chip with a new one. The chip; PIC18F452

DeLonghi ESAM Family: Delonghi Esam 2600 EX1 Infuser Overruns Top Position, Ignores microswitch

Hello,

I have a Delonghi Esam 2600 EX 1 coffee machine and need some help fixing it.

When i turn it on, the infuser goes to the top, the machine starts buzzing and the machine enters into fault mode with blinking lights on the coffee icons and continous red on the exclamation mark icon.

What I've done so far, is enter test mode and remove the covers to see what is happening and I can see that the infuser goes to the very top, pushes the microswitch without problem but then keeps pushing until it makes the motor struggle.
I have tested the top microswitch with a multimeter and there is continuity when it is not pushed in; If i push it then the multimeter stops beeping so i'm assuming the upper microswitch works properly.
I have tested the microswitch cables going to the power board for continuity and they are fine.
I have also tried to do an encoder reset, but i had to turn it off after trying to do the rinse, because it just keeps pushing as in regular start up.

Every other component seems to be working fine in test mode, but i can't get it to turn on and do the rinse because it doesn't stop at the top.

Thanks for reading.
