Starbucks Barista: Starbucks Barista primer not working

My Starbucks Barista machine has no water coming out. There is plenty of water in tank. Steaming function of machine still seems to work, though not as strong. Tried to follow the priming instructions, but doesn't help...never get any 4 ounces of water to flow through the steam wand as instructions state. Just a trickle of water, then steam.

Starbucks Barista: Disassembled portafilter & now my shots are not calibrated properly.

I disassembled the portafilter to clean it because one of the spouts was not pouring. After I cleaned it and put it back together the spouts now pour properly but the shots have no crema and they're really weak. One contributor here said, "It is impossible to put one of these back together. They can only be assembled by machine. Once you take it apart, its broke; unless you want a non-pressurized porta-filter." Henry H, replied that he had, "disassembled, cleaned/repaired and re-assembled...with no ill effects." I don't know exactly whats wrong but the portafilter seems to have lost pressure. If it's possible to re-assemble the portafilter properly could anyone instruct me how?

Coffee Maker: Mr. Coffee Cafe Barista - All LEDs blinking

Hi,

I have an Oster Prima Latte, it is essentially a Mr. Coffee Cafe Barista knock-off. The problem is that everything works “fine” excepts that no matter what selection a make (1 cup or 2 cups) the pump never stops, until security function detects the pump is on for too long and it self-set at error stage (all LEDs start blinking).

I’ve disassemble it completely, changed the O-rings on all the connections, cleaned all electronic conectors and circuit board, but nothing has solved this.

Hope you can help me with this.

P.S.: I have basic electronic knowledge and count with all the necessary tools: DMM, soldering iron, desoldering wick, etc,.

Coffee Maker: Delonghi Eco310 (Vintage Icona) water leakage inside

I have the Delonghi Eco310 (vingage Icona) Espresso Coffee Machine.

This morning I let it heat up as always, then pressed the button for coffee to fill up my cup. Pump worked, water boiled, pressure got the coffee out. Then all of a sudden, a popping noise inside as if a hose or tube came off and steam / pressure escaped with a “tfffffffffffff” sound. After that, no coffee came out anymore, the pump still worked, but all of a sudden there came out water from under the coffeemachine.

I turned it off, waited a bit for it to cool down and checked again, no water came out the normal way, also not over the steamer / frother on the side, but just lots of water from undernearth again.

I dismantled the machine to check all the hoses. Nothing slipped or popped out anywhere, everything seemed fine. I took out the little tube that goes from the top of the pump (anti drip valve) into the boiler. The O-Rings seemed fine, the tube had no damage or signs of leakage. Also the hoses coming from the watertank seemed fine. No visible damage. Pump seemed fine too.

I put everything back together, open this time. I let the machine heat the water up, my steam valve was open so lots of steam came out there at first - I closed it, but then it started steaming out of the anti drip valve? It seems the hot water is going back from the boiler into the top of the pump, rather than down into the coffee dispenser?

Does anyone have an idea which part could be affected? I am not sure if a new pump would fix the problem.

Thank you for your help

Coffee Maker: Delonghi Dedica only pulls one shot and steam iron only last a few sec

Hi all, I have a Delonghi Dedica EC685.M I have had a little of two years with no issues whatsoever.

In the last couple of weeks it has not been working properly. It switches on and heats up fine. When I press the button to pull a double shot it will start pouring the espresso but after a few seconds all three lights flash for a few seconds and it stops pouring. I can then press the button again and get the rest of the double, same thing happens.

When I use the steam wand, it works fine for a few seconds, but then the three lights flash again and it switches off and I have to reset the steam function to get it going again, it makes it impossible to steam or froth milk.

The machine is a few months out of warranty, typical, but would love to be able to fix it, really missing my caps
