Makita Circular Saw 5477NB 2010: It trips the breaker. To fix it I took it apart and rewired the saw .

My saw trips the house 30 amp breaker after I rewired the saw to the switch. The saw initially quit after I cut the cord while using the saw. When I put an ohm meter on the plug end of the cord, the circuit is open until I actuate the switch when it closes the circuit and goes to zero. Did I short the motor?

I just removed the nut holding the blade and replaced the blade. After replacing the blade I was careful to put the nut and two washers back in the same orientation under the nut. The nut will not fully tighten. The saw blade is loose and has some wobble. Now I am unable to take the nut off as it turns without unscrewing while holding the lade fixed. What is wrong?

I rescued this saw that was missing parts and there was no power cord. Every video I have seen addresses every model but this one. There is a light blue wire from the field going to a nylon connecting block and nothing on the other side. My model is the 5007 NBA.

I have a Black and Decker Saw Force 300. While using it it got a little sideways on a board and stopped. Now it doesn't turn on at all. I tried looking for a breaker in the circuit that might have tripped, but can't find anything.

I have no clue as to how to get it working again. Would like to, as it's a perfectly good saw otherwise.

How can I reattach the spring that activates the lower blade cover

I would appreciate your help as I can't make the connections for reassembly of the saw.!

I have removed the blade and its bolt. The shield has jumped off the hook of the spring. One end of the coil spring remains in its hole. The hooked end lies disconnected from the shield which also is loose (unsnapped) from the center washer. How do I get the spring coiled hooked in the shield and all attached, at this point?

It appears to not want to turn in a circle like the motor is locked up. I barely got it the brake loose. It will not hardly turn over by hand.
