acer nitro 5 AN517-51-75X3: How to Troubleshoot Acer Laptop Not Powering On

I have a 2020 Acer Nitro 5 AN517-51-75X3. It doesn't show many signs of life and I've met a dead end in troubleshooting. Does anyone have any idea how to proceed?

This is what I observe

If I plug in the charger, the blue battery light is stable

Absolutely nothing happens when pressing the power button: no fans, no lights, no beeps, nothing

I am comfortable with a screwdriver and own an Ifixit pro toolkit so I can get pretty much anywhere, but I have not been able to find any schematics online for this motherboard, and although all ports are labeled, most labels are just some letters and numbers, and not actually informative. Acer and their service partners probably have a list for that, but I wasn't able to find it online, so I'm flying partially blind.

I have tried these things:

There are no peripherals connected to the laptop.

hold the power button for 10, 25, 30, 60 seconds as well as a lot more times for different durations

remove battery and charger, hold power button for 90 seconds to drain residual energy

use a multimeter to confirm the battery delivers power (~16.8V, should be anywhere between 14.5 and 17.9v, so that's fine)

use a multimeter to confirm the charger delivers the appropriate voltage to the motherboard (measured behind the thing where the power socket wire connects to the motherboard)

use a multimeter to confirm the keyboard connector has power to ground at least at several pins

use a multimeter to verify the CMOS battery delivers charge (~3v)

reseat RAM

reseat a lot of other connectors

visually inspect entire motherboard, there are no signs of damage to the motherboard, capacitors, or anywhere else.

short the 1&2 pins on the keyboard connector to ground (separately) to try and force a boot

Nothing I try seems to make any discernable difference to the laptop behaviour.

This is what I'm looking for

I would like some pointers on what else I can test or verify to try and pinpoint the issue. Currently my only remaining guesses are

1) the keyboard is non-functional, and since that contains the on/off button, the laptop can't turn on because of it.

2) the motherboard is toast, but I consider this unlikely because 1) it's never the motherboard and 2) there are no visible burns, leakages or damages anywhere

Does anybody have an idea on:

how I could eliminate or confirm the keyboard as a cause (preferably without having to buy a new keyboard because those are expensive for a test),

how I could test/eliminate/confirm the motherboard as a cause

what other things I could test

Thanks in advance!

Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54: Pc board stand offs

Hi, so one day for some crazy reason I took my laptop apart to add thermal paste but instead added liquid nails. Not knowing or doing any research on how bad it is to do so, I added it anyway on my cpu. But to top it off I added blue or red loctite to my screws that hold the heatsync, about 9 screws. After using the laptop a few times my laptop started making crackling noises. My thoughts were maybe it's the liquid nails there moving about the inside of my laptop freely! So to be safe I opened my laptop to remove the liquids nails and never use again. Now what about the screws I started thinking with them being locked with loctite? Well now I have 3 screws with broken heads, and 2 or 3 others that won't come out....

Can you make a video on how to use the precision screw set? My laptop has been sitting there for about 3 years now. I do charge it every 3 to 6 months to keep the battery in good health. I just don't have the expertise on this kind of soldering issue and the worse part is that it's a new laptop only used it a handful of times.

Acer Nitro: My acer nitro 16-43 CPU fan spinning constantly

my acer nitro 16-43 cpu side fan keeps spinning , it happened after a service in a local repair shop,(even my version of nitrosense wasnt working), i asked them why my cpu fan keep spinning, they had no answers, even after checking the sensors. its running since almost 6 months now , i have tried everything, cleaning fans, background processes, temperature checks everything is fine. IDK what the problem is, i noticed , it has uneven behaviors, like most of the time it keeps spinning, but sometimes its just totally slows for a second then again ramps up. and my nitrosense is still not opening.

I am trying to find the board for the other side of the laptop with the USB-C, USB, and HDMI ports. Is this its own part? or are those ports directly connected to the motherboard?

Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58: Acer laptop only stays on while holding Windows key

My Acer laptop won't turn on with the power button. The only way to turn it on is by holding Windows + Space together, and it stays on only as long as I keep the Windows key pressed. The moment I release it, the laptop shuts off immediately. Could this be caused by a dead CMOS battery, or is it likely a faulty keyboard / motherboard issue?

Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54: Why is my fan so loud?

My fan is SUPER loud, because its always running as high as it can … I can adjust the cool boost, the CPU and the GPU individually, and nothing makes a difference. I also run my laptop with a fan pad underneath and it doesnt matter. Its not overheating or anything ….. just acts like it is. And it doesnt matter where the CPU is running at … everything is smooth and running as it should, with all games cranked and all …… the noise has me in tears some nights because I cant hear people over discord comfortably. Please help me! My last Nitro 5 was SO quiet, and this stupid new condensed model is driving me nuts
